Проглядывая старые темы(тм) нашел ссыль на интересную американскую работу по ранениям на войне. Много всяких коринок и прочего, но меня зацепило вот чего.
"Case 1.-A Fijian soldier, while on patrol, was wounded by a fragment of a U.S. 90 mm. shell which exploded at a 20-yard distance"
"Case 2.-A Fijian soldier, while on patrol, was struck by a U.S. 90 mm. shell fragment 25 yards"
"Case 4.-A Fijian soldier was mistaken for the enemy and shot in the head and abdomen by a U.S. .30 caliber rifle at a distance of 15 yards."
И случаи боевые. Интересна дистанция обстрела.
"Case 5.-A soldier of the 182d Infantry, while withdrawing from enemy fire, was hit in the back of the neck by a .25 caliber Japanese bullet fired by a sniper from a distance of 35 yards."
"Case 3.-A soldier of the 145th Infantry, 37th Division, was struck in the head by a Japanese machinegun bullet fired from a distance of 30 yards"
"Case 7.-A soldier of the 129th Infantry, 37th Division, was wounded by a .25 caliber bullet fired by a Japanese sniper from a distance of 75 yards."
"Case 8.-A soldier of the 145th Infantry, 37th Division, was struck by a Japanese machinegun bullet fired from a distance of 30 yards"
"Case 3.-A soldier of the 182d Infantry, Americal Division, was manning a machinegun in a foxhole on Hill 260. This soldier slipped out to look for the enemy position and was struck by a fragment of a Japanese mortar shell which burst at a distance of 40 yards."
"Case 6.-A soldier of the 129th Infantry, 37th Division, was advancing behind a tank when he was wounded by a Japanese .25 caliber machinegun bullet fired from a distance of 25 yards"
"Case 8.-A Fijian soldier was crouching on patrol when he was struck by a .25 caliber Japanese sniper bullet fired from a distance of 30 yards."
"Case 10.-A soldier of the 129th Infantry, 37th Division, was prone on the crest of a ridge behind a tank attack when he was hit by a .25 caliber Japanese rifle bullet fired from a distance of 100 yards."
"Case 13.-A soldier of the 182d Infantry, Americal Division, was moving up a hill when he was struck by a .25 caliber Japanese bullet fired from a distance of 30 yards"
Это война на островах, походу Бугенвиль и так далее.
А вот Корея, турецкий батальон за 3 дня наступления.

Интересно, а вот попадалось ли кому-нибудь аналогичное по Европе, именно с указанием дистанций?

Date: 2016-12-24 05:28 am (UTC)Дальности ранений? А +- что означают? Это 3 сигмы или что?
Гм...получается, что стреляли почти всё время в упор, при чём из пулемётов ближе, чем из винтовок? Вот этого не понимаю.
